8 and 0, en route to 9 and 0. Definitely not saddled with 6 losses.

It was smart not to let OSU in, they would have lost for sure

Here we go...the TWO Conference divide, gonna be like this for awhile or forever in both sports.

So they might get 6 into sweet 16 compared to 6 from SEC…

Current breakdown:
3 - Big 12
2 - SEC
2 - Big Ten

Another SEC or Big 10 will be added with Tennessee-UCLA.

SEC has a chance to add four tomorrow, probably gets to at least five.
Big Ten has a chance to add four tomorrow, probably gets to at least four.
Big 12 has a chance to add three, might be able to get one to get to four.

Single elimination hoops tourney doesn’t quite qualify as empirical evidence, in my book.

SEC was really good this year. That said, I think it’s clear that if you finish 12th, 13th, 14th in a conference, you don’t really deserve to be in. Kinda wish they’d cap it at 10 max per conference and give us more mid majors. Not like they’re going to do any worse.

Only one game today doesn't have an SEC or B1G team in it.

Then a team like Arkansas doesn’t get in in favor of some team like UC Irvine
