Does anyone ever follow up to see if these schools actually pay these announced fines? Or, is this just a way for conferences to claim they're doing something about a situation but there's no actual follow through?

The Ohio State staffers that were provoking the fight should be suspended. Ridiculous to think a $100K fine is anything to these schools.

Rounding error for both.
Head coaches and players involved should be suspended for whatever postseason game(s) they have and the first conference game next season if they’re back.
Head coaches could stop this shite before the game starts if they wanted to stop it.
