It’s gotta be Dirk, right? The guy revolutionized the game. He prefaced the movement of big men to the three point line. He stretched the floor in a way that was not the norm. His fallaway jumper is one of the all time great shots in basketball.

What say you?

Wade is my favorite player of the post-Jordan era. With that being said, I believe Dirk is the better player and doesn’t get near the credit he deserves.

Dirk. Dwayne was great in his own way tho but also had LeBron in his prime for a while

Definitely agree with this.

Dirk had such a unique style of play in his prime. It was pretty incredible to watch a guy who looked like he was about to trip over his own feet the whole game go out and dominate

Dirk by a little.

I’d put Dirk in the 20-25 range, with D Wade being just outside of it and in the 25-28 range, though there’s an argument for Wade in the 20-25 range as well.

Dwayne's absolute prime (2005?) was a teeny bit higher than Dirk, but Dirk was better for almost every other year
and had the better career.

Dwyane's peak tho.

ETA - 2005-2010 he basically was a frog hair under LeBron in the league.

Dirk overall. And better name too.

Wade in his prime was nice to watch.

Wade’s peak was better, but Dirk’s career was better.

Dirk...leading the Mavs OVER the Heat in the NBA Finals with Dwayne Wade and Lebron James gives Dirk a leg up! Are people forgetting that series?

That was LeChokes fault. Wade showed up.

Dirk was just better all-around. Top 5 pure shooter of all time and revolutionized the stretch 4/stretch 5 position. Pioneer for Euro players. The list goes on as to why this guy is a top 20 player of all time, but on ground level, this guy is a great human being.

Dirk is the best thing DFW ever had to offer and it's not even close. The loyalty he had for 1 team and city is rare.

Not Even Close.............its Dirk!

D Wade was handed a series over the Mavs. (and yes I am still pissed).

Dirk is the best shooter and carried a team on his own for years. He won that championship over the Super Team when no one in America thought they had a chance.

Dirk is the MAN!
