AFC has two sure HOFers. NFC has a lot more young guys who may turn out to be HOFers. So, AFC at this point in time

NFC...

Brees and Rodgers vs Brady and Peyton is pretty solid for the top 2 of each conference. But then the AFC has Smith and Dalton at the bottom. NFC bottom Qbs in the playoffs are better than the AFCs.

Tough call, but top to bottom i think its the NFC.

Top to bottom, I guess the NFC. I like their second tier guys better.

Top Half:

Manning, Brady, Rivers vs Rodgers, Brees, Foles

slight edge to the AFC maybe, even tho Brady had a subpar year so did Rodgers

Bottom Half:

Dalton, Luck, Smith vs Wilson, Kaep, Newton

edge to the AFC.

Top guys are a push while AFC has the worst. So edge to NFC overall.

Um. If you were trying to represent what I said then no. Not at all.

worst of the bunch has to be Kaep when you look at production

One issue with the comparison this year is two of the better NFC QBs only played partial years (Rodgers and Foles)

I'd say:

Manning>Brees
Rivers>Foles
Brady>Rodgers
Dalton>Newton
Luck>Wilson
Smith>Kaep

That's sort of unfair to the NFC when Foles and Rodgers were pretty amazing when they played but even if you turn around those two comparisons the other four comparisons go to the AFC.

You could also argue the other way on the Luck and Wilson comparison but my bias is Wilson had a lot more to work with and Luck's numbers being comparable indicate he's really the better QB

I'll give each player a star rating out of 5 for how they're playing right now, and we'll add them up to see who is the best

AFC
Peyton 5
Brady 4
Dalton 3
Luck 3
Smith 3
Rivers 4

NFC
Wilson 4
Newton 4
Foles 4
Rodgers 4
Kaepernick 3
Brees 4

AFC 22
NFC 23

IMO

Tough judging drew only gets a 4. Give Peyton a 5.5 but drew should get a 5

AFC has the 2 best QBs in the NFL this year Peyton and Rivers. Bress is third and then everyone else is basically the same after that.

I was considering it but didn't wanna seem like a homer. We'll call Drew a high 4
