Played against Jeremy Hill, he was a freshman my senior year and was a dog. Rodarick Jones was also a beast.

Germaine(sp?) "Juice" Williams...fricking beast RB.

Chad Loup & Brad Banta at U-High were pretty damn good too.

Saw Ruston play Neville about that time. The running back who went to Auburn and then Grambling was real.
Neville had a quarterback named Rocky Kingrea, who was legit as well and a fullback named Sammy Futch. Bearkats won that one.

Malcolm was an Erick Dickerson clone. Tired his knee at Auburn went to NSU after issues that followed him their. Sad loss of tat that recently passed I believe. 1990 RHS team was the best I've seen. With Rodney young , Bobby Williams and brad laird and many others

Personal favorite of mine, originally a quarterback I believe. With the Raiders he and Lyle Alzado hooked up in an epic fight in the training room that's still talked about.

I can't remember the kids name, but for any of you guys who graduated high school 07-09 there was a kid who played catcher for the Tigers in the Rough Cuts 7th-8th grade league in '04 who was incredible. The dude had to be 6'2 190lbs in 8th grade, hit a bomb seemingly every game and got clocked at 82 from his knees throwing down to 2nd base.

I know he went on to be a hell of a high school baseball and football player and I think played JUCO or D2. I can't remember his fricking name though, at the time I thought he was definitely a future professional athlete

Thanks for the the correction. He would have had the top high jump had it not been for the freak that was Billy Green. Correct?

That Ruston team was great. Played them in 1990,my soph year. That rb was who I would say. We had a good year and still lost to them 42-0 in the playoffs.
Sulphur had a running back who was huge. Maybe last name was ryan. Would have graduated in 1992.

Jay Lucas was one of my favorite high school running backs during his time at Redempt. I wish he would have played at LSU

Alex Byo maybe? Pitched at Tulane and I think he's in the minors now. I was in Rough Cuts around that time and I think he was the catcher for the Tigers then.

Hit Anthony Thomas straight up on a kick return. I was a 145# kicker and I held on for dear life until he fell. Closest I ever came to giving up a kick return for a TD

Played against a lot of the top players from the north end of the state at LaTech football camp in 96

Edit to add...

Totally forgot about playing against Booger McFarland and Jeremy Lawrence. Those were district rivals, I played at Rayville.

Also played against Talance Sawyer from Bastrop.
