I'll get flamed but Bama is shaping up nicely. Also, Nebraska & Oh St are equally impressive from an exterior perspective.

Akron is trying to do the same thing, but the football team sucks so bad it won't matter

Depending on how long their new hire sticks around, I could see them really blowing up.

View of the South Endzone expansion, set to open this year.

USC, did you make the trip to Charlottesville last year? I'm planning on making the trip to LA this year, BTW.

Naw, my whole family did except me. They loved it other than my sister getting jacked in the face out of nowhere by some drunk dude

I'm going to grad school on the east coast so I think I might only make 1 or 2 SC games this year. Not sure if I'll make UVA or not. You should be a fun time though

no crack here. you don't like any of those stadiums?

what about Beaver Stadium or Neyland Stadium looks good? Tiger Stadium looks stupid with those upper decks that don't match the old architecture of the lower bowls

I'll admit that the endzones of Bryant Denny look really nice, but the sides are rather ugly looking.

The stadium doesn't look half as good from the front but they are doing the same thing to the other side so I think its going in the right direction

Circa 80's, frats used to bury kegs in the hill the night before the game. TFM

Half of our students still dress like this for tailgating and the game:

Notice the dudes pants. Jesus Christ.

Jizz on my face!

Setting wise, it's hard to beat Washington. The stadium itself wouldn't be in the top 50 probably, but they are planning on remodeling it. The project is "shovel-ready", they are just $300 million short

Renovation renderings. They plan on starting it as soon as they come up with a funding solution (which hasn't been too successful the last two years)

Tdawg, how difficult is it to get a spot for your boat? I bet some crazy partying goes down by the docks.

Tiger Stadium would be up there if the new upper deck wasn't so fricking ugly.

I think the North Endzone looks great

Agreed. Allowing this to happen was a travesty imo because the rest is as classic as it gets

I've never actually done it (I need to one of these times) but from what I understand, they sell spots on the dock just like tickets. You can buy them for single games or you can buy a season's pass for them. If you anchor your boat, all you do is wave when you are ready and a boat shuttle service will pick you up from the dock. Most of the tailgating (sterngating or sailgating as it's often called) is done by either the really rich dudes that just come in off their lakefront homes or visiting fans will rent a party boat and take that to the game with like 50 people. I'm sure those get pretty crazy, but I doubt the high roller guys get too riled up.

I figured the rich and famous were the only ones.

Although, I would bet that 50 middle class people could get a pretty nice boat and party going. Sounds like a lot of fun.
