Since the X Games just ended last weekend and it's nothing near the original concept. I was thinking the old Street Hockey league from Huntington Beach was the best sport that the Deuce would show in afternoon.

WSOP comes to mind.

Maybe not a sport, but a televised competition that has held the test of time on ESPN.

I had forgotten about the roller hockey league until just now. It's seems like WSM was on every single day during the mid-90's summers. Bill Kasmier and Magnus Ver Magnusson pretty much ran it.

Bill Clement wearing lumberjack gear

The log rolling and the shooting stuff was cool, especially when they got the dogs involved.

I dont understand how either. I'd rather watch the weather channel than people playing cards.

Magnus DOMINATED WSM, that is the only guy I ever remember winning.

I wonder what old Magnus is up to these days

Beat me to it.

Also enjoyed beach soccer for some weird reason.

ETA: The old ESPN2 was basically ESPN 8: The Ocho.

Y'all beat me to the lumberjack competition, but they also had the fireman challenges too.
