what do you think? Ones that come to mind for me...

Eric Dickerson/Craig James
Darren McFadden/Felix Jones/Peyton Hillis
Willis McGahee/Clinton Portis/Frank Gore/Najeh Davenport
Reggie Bush/LenDale White
Cadillac Williams/Ronnie Brown/Brandon Jacobs
Mark Ingram/Trent Richardson
Tommie Frazier/Lawrence Phillips/Ahman Green
Kevin Faulk/Rondell Mealey/Cecil Collins

also maybe some of the past USC crews like OJ, Charles White, Marcus Allen, etc.

Bo Jackson, Lionel James, Tommy Agee in the wishbone - 1982-84 I think?

Charles White & Marcus Allen - 1979 I think? Both Heisman winners!

Miker Rozier, Turner Gill, Irving Fryer - 1983.

I'd like to throw out an honorable mention to Lee Suggs and Kevin Jones for Virginia Tech about a decade ago. Plus Michael Vick.

Well Steve McNair and Marshall Faulk would have been in the same backfield, if LSU hadn't wanted to turn them both into DBs...

Marcus Allen was brought to USC as a DB, but his conversion to offense worked out fairly well.

It's amazing to have Ingram and Richardson on the field in my lifetime. I'm 21 and now seeing the best RB duo in the county at the moment. But do you think Ingram and Richardson will still be regarded as such in the next few years?

Sanders and Thomas still have to be considered the best talent. You're talking NFL HOFer's. White sucked in the NFL, cocaine is a helluva drug

not really. Great running back duos aren't very uncommon.
