HIBBERT is about to go SHAQ on the heat. You heard it here first.

Hibbert doesn't have it in him to be a 30+ and 15 guy. Only way the Pacers win is if George turns into a superstar or Lebron gets hurt.

You must have not learned a thing from the Chicago series. Chicago's B-team (probably more like C-team) gave Miami some serious heartache. The Heat aren't invincible.

I wouldn't go as far as pickin the Pacers cause I don't think they can win in Miami and don't like that they lack a pure spot-up shooter, but they matchup extremely well with the Heat and will give them hell.

Tonight hibbert went 21 pts 12 rbs 5 blocks 2 assists against much better post defenders than miami will have. He's gonna have 50 pounds and 3 inches on anyone guarding him. Dude works hard. It's gonna be ugly.

Where in this thread did I say they didn't match up well? My comments has absolutely NOTHING to do with the "b team" My point was that regular season matchups and records have no credibility when it comes to the playoffs.

No credibility? None?

That's a stretch.

Hibbert's high in the series last year was like 19. I think 3 times he was held in single digits. Bosh was not playing and it was still only a 6 game series.

Hibbert's game is much improved. I just see Miami being too much. West won't be able to cover Bosh.

Indeed. Hibbert's a baller, but he isn't enough of factor to carry the Pacers past the Heat.

I have been wrong before.

I wonder how much of a difference a healthy Granger would make

Would be a similar 2012 Pacer team, except George is much improved and Lance has made strides

I've always been a Granger fan. It would be interesting.

A healthy Wade, sure. But the Lance Stephenson that showed up tonight can hold his own.

Yea and you used an example of a crippled Bulls team that gave Miami fits as your example.

It was a bad example.

This. This series is gonna go to 7. LeBron is gonna have to guard Hibbert otherwise he's gonna pick em apart down low and Wade is gonna have trouble guarding George with that injury. Also if Stephenson continues to play like he did tonight then that's something else for the Heat to worry about.

He's the same guy he was last year. 10-15 points, 8-10 rebounds, 2-3 blocks. Occasionally he'll have a good game. Occasionally he'll disappear.
