This season might fall apart before it gets off the ground

I’d be shocked if we make it through December

Nope, it’s because of contact tracing. The players who have to sit have all had 6 negative test over the past 2 weeks. It’s not big numbers like tech but it’s mostly one position group.

Not surprising. Contact tracing has been the reason for most of these cancellations.

can you expand on this? Not quite sure I follow. And who's responsible for making these decisions? The school or the league?

League rules. They aren’t positive but somebody they were around is.

Because they won't have to test again until approximately December, and most likely won't get it again regardless.

How does being around someone who has COVID trump multiple negative tests?
You have to admit, that sounds ridiculous, and I'm a bit skeptical. But then again this is 2020, and we're living in The Onion.

Going to check the Big 12 rules on this shite, if it's publicly available. If this is true then big 12 won't be playing many games this year.

Why does it seem like only the good games are getting postponed.

Quite possibly the most interesting game of the day, atleast in my view. Don’t get me wrong, I am glad that college football is back, but 9/26 can’t get here soon enough.
