Butch was bitching about it last night saying it's not safe for pitchers. Maybe they should just quit reducing the roster size limits.
I love the format the way it is. Yes, it adds an element of pitching depth that isn't needed for the regular season but really that just helps give an advantage to the host team who earned that right in the regular season. In Omaha they get extra days off. It's the best format in sports and I wouldn't change anything except delaying the champ series so each team can get their ace in
