Adrian Peterson will be a top 5 back IMO before he's done.

I don't know, its way too early to say that I think. I remember thinking the same of LT, but I don't think he'll come close. These 'Favre years' will help him sure, but he's a very physical back... I don't know if any modern runningback will ever approach the numbers of Walter, Barry, Emmitt, certainly not the career average of Jim Brown.

TBH i'd take Bo over Herschel in college and the pros

Speculating what if with Bo is not really fair, because we can make up anything. Durability is a part of greatness and he choose to play BB.

Walker was also a very good rec. His best season was 1988 in Dallas, he ran for 1514 and had another 500 rec.

Bo's best season was 89, he ran for 950 in 11 games 9 starts thats 1381 for 16 games. We can bump that to 1450-1500 for 16 games given he prolly starts all 16, not 9 or 11

Walker had a better career than most realize. 8225 yds rushing 4859 rec 112 TD's.

Its not even arguable who was better in the pros.

Walkers college numbers are better 2 and he played 1 less year. I'd think only a barner would argue Bo was better. Very similar styles, both were big and very fast. Numbers don't lie. Walker was better at both levels, way better in the pros.

Walker pro stats

Bo pro stats

Tebow had 52 TDs that year, while playing in the SEC

32 Passing TDs + 23 Rushing TDs

does that count the bowl? if so that's one more game.

combining rushing and passing TD's is almost like using return yds to pad stats.

oh, he's very much in the discussion. his rec numbers may nudge him over Sanders imo.

Please tell me you aren't comparing Tebow to Sanders or Walker. Most of Tebow's TD runs are from 1-5 yds.

only 50?

They and the press will argue his record and 2 or god forbid 3 NC's. I disagree.

I'd take VY over Tebow every time (please not I'm not really a Texas fans )

Tebow's throwing motion is a joke. My 10 yr old cousin has better mechanics.

I actually broke all these records on NCAA 10 with a fricking quarterback. Sanders is a bum

not really, when u consider he threw for over 3000 yards and nearly ran for 1000. That's balance. And production in one.

55 TD's is a lot regardless of what u think. Comparing it to KO returns??? Really????

Some of the "best" dual threat QBs in history never sniffed that combined total in a season...Tommie Frazier, Vince Young, Michael Vick, Steve McNair,

and you're talking about Herschel Walker and Bo Jackson yada yada yada....Tim Tebow holds the SEC record for most rushing TDs in a season, and he is a fricking QB. And im pretty sure he just broke the career TD record in the SEC.

only player ever with 20 rushing and 20 passing TDs in a season

call it what you will, but that season stacks up with the best ever considering the competition
