Sent them home really is the nicest way it can be said. WM has demolished them on more than one occasion to end their season, unfortunately.
I posted something about this last week. My thought was essentially the same as yours. Throw the successful privates up in 5A or create some type of 6A hybrid instead of letting them beat up on 2A and 3A public schools...

from a "improve competiton standpoint" let schools play up but force them to 5A, then reclass after seeing how many play up, keep 5 classes

Barbe has never had the linemen to keep up with WM in football.
What happened to WM's baseball program? Doesnt seem like they have been competing for titles in a while.

Shake went to ULM. Blankenship played a brutal schedule this year and WM is the 9 seed. They beat Rummel yesterday 12-3. Unfortunately if they beat Haughton they draw Barbe in the quarters. Barbe beat them 5-0 and 4-0 so far this year.

Apparently their recruiting season for Barbe baseball was a success. It's a shame that the Barbe Softball team didn't have as great a recruiting season with their pitiful coach, leading to a pitiful season.
