You are saying they need to beat a better team in the SEC CG, so beating a 11-1, then a 9-3 doesn't help, but beating an 9-3 then and 11-1 would. That makes no sense at all.

South Carolina can get to 10-2 at best. But I think they lose another one. So If AU is unbeaten and Bama beats them, And then goes to the SECCG and beats a 3 loss team that will not help them. I guess I am trying to tell you that BOISE will get there. THIS is the year the WHOLE world of college football gets blown up. TCU VS. BOISE for it all.

And again why not? Beating an undefeated top 5 team will help them, that its in a de facto SEC W CG and not the SEC CG is irrelevant. Why you think there needs to be a top team in the SEC E to help Bama is beyond me. Its how many top teams they beat, not what division those teams are in.

That's fine and very possible. But the SEC E being down will have no impact. As SFP pointed out the best case for Boise is Bama to be 4th. If the humans have Boise 2 and Bama 3, Bama will most definitely get in over Boise.

no chance, unless everyone loses 2 like 2007 and that's not really likely at this point.

I'm thinking there's a better chance of an LSU vs Auburn rematch than TCU vs Boise
