re: Bama or Ohio St. at number five?

Committee already having Bama so high, means they're going to pick Bama despite beating a terrible Auburn team.
Bama played some awful teams this year and lost to the two good teams they played. What a charmed media life. Bag man on the Committee again?

They won’t have a rematch in the semifinals after watching a blowout at home of the same game a week prior.
Which is why Georgia would be #1. They'd justify that by saying something about LSU being a tougher opponent.

Bama only has one loss in regulation.

People conveniently forget Georgia getting waxed by Bama in the SECCG last year and UGA still getting into the CFP without question.

Exactly. They’re a lock if ever there was one.
Probably controversial, but I believe UM and TCU are likely a lock as well provided they don’t lose ugly.

Even all of Ohio State’s wins were by 10+. There’s no logical argument for Alabama to be ranked ahead.
And I don’t even want Ohio State in playoffs. They don’t deserve it.
Agree with all of this, especially last part and I went to school at OSU.

Prior to yesterday here add the teams that were behind Bama: Clemson, Tennessee, Oregon, Penn state, K State.
Which of those should have been ranked higher? Maybe Tennessee, due to h2h but we can't just ignore the beat down they had against South Carolina.

You guys played the 69th hardest schedule having only 3 games against teams with an actual pulse and 2 of them you had at home.
Alabama has played the 6th hardest schedule playing all their hardest opponents away from home.
The committee also has shown how much respect they have for the SEC ranking LSU above USC and Alabama above Clemson; basically acknowledging the conference and schedule is much tougher.
Those are the facts.

They could have easily ranked Clemson over Alabama after all you guys rant about having one loss being better than two.
Then again you miss the fact the committee has stated multiple times it isn't just the loss but HOW you lose.
Hence why a one-loss Clemson was always behind Alabama. They lost by 21 points at home.
You guys also forgot how LSU was above USC even with their big loss at home to tenn. The committee respects the SEC as the best conference and by far toughest. Sorry but the B1G is really really bad.

LSU/USC comparison is just stupid.
Ohio State best two wins will be ranked ahead of Bama's best win.
That was not the case at all in the USC/LSU comp.

Also remember that ND lost to Clemson 30-3 in the ACCCG and still got in. Mind you they did beat Clemson earlier in the year but with DJU at QB.

Penn state will be far higher than any Bama win

I really hope Bama somehow backs in. Watching that idiot go on TV and try to explain the committee's decision would be solid gold.

This is really pretty simple.. if usc and TCU lose next week they are both out. So it’s not really hard to figure out that it will be…
UGA
Michigan
Bama
Ohio state
They put OSU at 4 so we don’t have a rematch in the semis.

I think Georgia, Michigan and TCU are in regardless.
