Michigan State 0 fouls. Nebraska whistled every possession. 10 minutes remaining. 1st foul called. And it was weak! Lol.

Wow big win for Nebraska, their coach Tim Miles is one of the most underrated coaches in America. Has done a tremendous job in Lincoln.

The B1G is crazy and unpredictable this year but Izzo is one of the best coaches in America. Not having Dawson or a healthy Appling is killing them.

Holy crap, I didn't even bother keeping an eye on the Nebraska game after Michigan's loss. As expected, Michigan is fading a bit. I would still be happy with 12-6 and second or third place. Franny just might win the conference.

Good game, Spartans. Still think y'all are going to win it all.

First win on the road against a top 10 opponent since 1997.

If Terran Petteway doesn't make 1st team All B1G, I will be very disappointed.

All of a sudden Nebraska is trying to make some noise about an NCAA tourny bid. Lets look at their resume and remaining schedule:

14-10 (6-6)

Penn State W
Purdue W
@Illinois W
Northwestern W
@Indiana W/L
#21 Wisconsin W/L

Nebraska has big wins over @Micigan St and @Ohio St. They could very easily win their next 4 games which would get them to 18-10 and in the conversation. If they could win against Wisconsin the last game of the year and finish 19-11 and win one game in the B1G tourney to get to 20-11 i think they are in. Take care of business Nebraska and you will be dancing this year.

Despite yesterdays performance, I still am not confident in picking this team on the road.

I'll say they finish 4-2. Which would be 18-12 (10-8).

Call me crazy, but with the 28th ranked SOS, and wins over OSU, Minnesota, @Michigan State and possibly vs Wisconsin.... that's tournament worthy.

Illinois isnt your typical road game though. They are bad! I could see a 5-1 finish and finishing up 19-11. That gets you in i think. If you win one game in the B1G tourny and get to 20 wins, no way can the tournament committee leave out a 20 win B1G team. The oppurtunity is right there for the taking for Nebraska.

yep, 20-11 should be more than good enough with their wins over good teams too, and with 28th SOS.

Wonder which was their worst loss, though?

UAB seemed like a good loss (at the time), probably the same with Purdue.

I'll go with PSU being the worst loss.

That would most definitely get them in. They're a tough at their new building.

Agree 100%. It hasnt been talked about enough this season. Nebraska is really tough in Pinnacle Bank Arena. Its going to help Nebraska basketball tremendously now and into the future.

It looks like Indiana is going to have to speed up the idea of the renovation plan for Assembly Hall, or a new arena. We cant have roofs falling on peoples heads. They are so lucky that didnt happen during the game. That would have killed people.

Nebraska really needs to take advantage of this new arena. Soon. They're doing it on the court. The attendance is improving drastically as a result.

Now the coaches need to take advantage of this on the recruiting trail.

This team needs an inside presence as bad as Anthony Davis needs a tweezers for that unibrow.

If they don't, it's going to be a state of the art arena with a mediocre basketball program. You don't spend that kind of money on basketball in a football state only to see it go to the wayside.

Yep, good for UNL to have that new venue. I will say there are some really nice buildings in the big10 as well (OSU, UM, MSU, Wisconsin)
