Does it feel awkward when your favorite NFL team drafts someone from your most hated rival ?

No. I was begging the Titans to draft Mett. I would've loved to have Tre Mason.

I think it is silly to care where a guy came from.

Not really. As an LSU and Packer fan I have no problem cheering for Eddie Lacy. It is nice when they go to rivals though.

there are a handful of guys from Alabama and Auburn over the years that I would not have wanted the 49ers to take, but generally i don't care.

Yep...

College allegiance doesnt change what I think of a guy in the NFL. 2 diff leagues.

I didnt like Julio Jones at Alabama, but I damn sure respected him. And would love to have him on my team in the NFL.

Pointless to dislike a guy in the NFL based on where he played college at.

If a guy acts like a thug in the NFL... sure.

But, to not like a guy that hasnt been in any trouble or off the field issues just because of where he went to college is silly.

What does this have to do with where he went to college though? I can't even think of where he played, but feel the same way about him honestly.

No, I was praying the Falcons pick Matthews. Not a safer pick in the draft.

Wait, we do consider A&M a rival right? Or no because it has been so one sided lately?

If they subsequently sh#t the bed for my team then it stings a little, but otherwise no. On the flip side, I wish my college's draftees the best that get picked by teams I hate...until they play my team. That's awkward sometimes.

I absolutely despise FSU, but I really thought highly of LaMarkus Joyner.

Warrick Dunn & Derrick Brooks are 2 of my all-time favorite nfl & Bucs players

But they are outliers....

This (if he's playing for your professional squad).

No it feels awkward when you see a guy smearing cake on another guy's face. BTW, I still hate Mark Ingram even though he is a Saint.
