John Kincade’s role at Dickey Broadcasting’s “680 The Fan” WCNN Atlanta has been revealed. Kincade will join Matt Chernoff for a new afternoon drive program beginning Aug. 31.
The new "Kincade & Chernoff Show" will air weekdays from 2-6pm, pairing two of Atlanta's best-known sports radio personalities in a move Dickey Broadcasting says is designed to strengthen the station's afternoon lineup with sports news, interviews, commentary and debate.
The lineup change also reshapes the role of Chuck Oliver, who will remain with “680 The Fan” while devoting additional attention to "The Chuck Oliver Show," heard on the Southern Sports Today Network.
Oliver will continue to serve as the station's lead college football voice through regular appearances, exclusive segments and promotions, including "Win Chuck's Dinner."

I’ll keep listening to Dukes and Bell. Just don’t like the guys on 680. 92.9 has better shows all around other than 9-11 with that pompous frick Steak Shapiro

I'm okay with Kincade. He's gotten much better over the years and would've liked to see him paired with Chuck.Chernoff is a complete assclown with nonstop babbling and 8th grade humor.
My understanding is the Chuck wanted out of the afternoon show because his CFB show (especially in the fall) is his main focus and takes up much of his time.

When they made the announcement last weekend, it was definitely Chuck's decision.
I think Kincade and Chernoff could be very good if Kincade runs point. If Chernoff runs point (and I think he will), they'll get easily sidetracked too often but it'll still be a good listen.

I have fond memories of Chuck n Chernoff in the lunchtime slot back about 15-20 years ago. They worked well together, and though Chernoff is grating at times, I don't have a problem with him.
I don't think Kincade is a good fit for their personalities. Two "drivers", no passengers.

Exactly.Chernoff needs to take a back seat and let Kincade run things but I'm sure it won't stop him from his insipid takes and pre-pubescent humour.

How many times can they change around these same shows over the last 20 years w/ a lot of the same people? It never ends.

I lived in ATL from late 1994 until 2005. Sports radio there is garbage.
Do you still have the 2 Live Stews?

Dukes and Bell sucks. Corny black dude and a childless boomer. Hard pass
Andy and Randy is good though. And I like Steakies show but more so for the revolving cohosts. RIP rusty rocks

Yeah, they're going to hate each other. Chuck and Chernoff were great. Kincaid needs to get back with Belue who doesn't care about anything whatsoever other than getting to the golf course asap so John can go on his rants while Buck just trolls him while bringing nothing of substance to the table.
