Random
I grew up playing baseball against Woodruffs older brother (who was a legend to us as he was a year older and threw way harder than anybody else) starting around 9.
The older Woodruff quit growing and I kind of forgot about him. But I heard about Brandon Woodruff and how good he was. Then I followed his career at State and he had a losing record and around a 5 ERA. I forgot about him and he showed up in the majors and couldn’t believe that. Now he’s a stud.
And recently was talking to my dad who told me that his older brother passed away a few years ago in what I think was a freak four wheeler accident. Still makes me sad even though I haven’t thought about him since college close to 10 years ago.

Interesting that you weren't around for last night's game thread.
Was at the poker table.
Sorry I missed it. Crew pitching has been horrible. Fat Matt Albers sucks.
Horrible hitting by shaw, Cain, and Aggie has killed us. Plus starting the desk w 3 “rookie” starters.
This win, if we hold on, doesn’t mean or prove much.

imagine being a Brewers fan and getting excited over having the lead in one game of a 162 game failure of a season.

brewers and cubs "fans" seem to have that in common

If that was the case wouldn’t I have more than one error?
And, there isn’t a person alive who wouldn’t want to be chilling in Milwaukee right now over the heat and humidity of Atlanta or New Orleans.

That we don’t really care about playing the Braves?

This game is not really my favorite.

it was likely to happen with our 8th or 9th best starter facing their ace.

The minute I heard Chuck and Chernoff on 680 discussing how
‘poor’ the starting pitching of Milwaukee was this afternoon on the drive home was the second I knew I didn’t even need to watch a second of the game. They are the reverse nostra-dumbasses when it comes to the Braves. Still

Lol
It means little to me, as I already stated.
All I’m gauging is Cain and Aggy.
