Yelich: They wanted Ronald.
Realmuto: They asked for Ronald at first but knew it was unreasonable then came down and asked for Riley instead. That had to be awfully tempting for the front office to consider and props to them for not doing it.

IIRC, Sixto Sanchez was the centerpiece of the package going back to the Marlins. He hasn't pitched since 2020.

Until about August or so of last year we would have thought we won out pretty handily on Riley for JT.
But that also assumes he develops the same in Miami, which I seriously doubt for some reason

Time and time again I feel like Ronnie has the bat taken outta his hands. 2 of those pitches were a full ball off the plate.
