I also like that we are clear in front of everyone in the Central. That means if we win our division, we get a first round bye, if I understand the new dumb playoff format correctly. Assuming everything holds as is, of course.

Damn, I had no idea he’d gotten it up that high. Seems like it wasn’t long ago he was hitting in the .230s. I knew he’d picked it up, but thought it was still in the .250s. Too bad what he did today won’t count.

Yeah, that's the perils of having a midseason all star game. By season's end, there are going to be guys who we'll laugh at the fact that they were all stars, and shake our heads at other who were snubbed. Like Riley, last year, for instance.

Very true. But there’s really no better way to do it logistically, unfortunately.

You know how that list is compiled? And they haven’t mentioned it yet, I’m not sure it’s still a thing.
And wtf are the Yankees and Dodgers jerseys and hats doing on the center of that table? Who cares if they have the best records at the break, it should 100% be the Braves and Astros.
