Terrible break. Ozuna scores easily if it doesn’t bounce over. I still expect a goose egg this inning.

was 3 for 57 in his last 16 games before being released - he's now 3 for 8 with a 3 game hit streak back in a Braves uniform

Much like Chavez, now only good in a Braves uni.

The best effective but wild pitcher in baseball. As frustrating as it is to watch

To me, it seems like he's having a little more trouble spotting his curveball consistently as he has gotten older. When he can't locate the curve, opposing hitters sit on the fastball and hammer it. When he can locate the curve, he is still very effective.

I know they have their reasons, but ozuna batting 5th is a mistake. He needs more at bats and needs to be higher.

Riley rakes in the 3 hole. Wouldn’t have an issue with the Big Bear batting clean up. Olson needs to figure his shite out. His strikeouts are costing Ozuna opportunities.

Put ozuna in 2 hole. way more at bats throughout the season. Can put you up 2-0 in the 1st if kelenic gets on. You have to get him more ABs. And I’m sick and tired of ending an inning with an Olson strikeout with ozuna on deck.

Kinda reminds me of the predicament Ronald is in batting lead off. He’s such an elite lead off guy you never wanna move him down in the lineup, but that hurts his RBI production which in turn handcuffs the Braves’ run scoring as an offense. Or maybe it’s a wash considering his OBP and RS last season where he finished ranked #1 in both categories (.416 and 149 respectively). He ranked tied for 8th in RBI in 2023 with 106.

Charlie hasn’t pitched amazing this year but his “struggles” have been magnified by no run production. Most games we lost with him we are scoring 3 or less runs.

Lovello throwing all his high leverage guys early. If we can hold serve we’ll win late.
