Somebody asked yesterday or the day before…where are all the Mutts daily threads like we had most of last season?

Sure would be nice to pick up and "W" tonight and complete the sweep.

2023 Payroll $$ per win of select teams (based on current W/L pace) (different sources have different payroll numbers, but these should be pretty close for comparisons sake):
Mets: $4,406,557 per win.
Will certainly shatter the all-time record.
I don't think Cohen is exactly sweating his finances yet, but this ROI can't be what he was expecting.
Braves: $2,057,434 per win. Worth it. Just make sure to eat at the Battery before or after the game please.
Rays: $683,754 per win. Impressive.

I'm gonna post this again on this game thread since last night's was anchored by a certain salty Muts fan mod and not everyone read about this little piece of history:
quote:
Snit got his 579th win as manager last night, putting him in sole possession of 3rd all-time in franchise history.
Also, since taking over as interim manager on May 17th, 2017, only Dave Roberts, Kevin Cash, and Tito Francona have more wins.
That's..... impressive.

Marcell Ozuna's last 28 games = .320/.386/.631 (1.017). 5 doubles, 9 homeruns, 23 RBI.

Kinda tagging along on your numbers for Ozuna, I saw these stats on another website:
Our hitters numbers since May 1st:
Acuna- 152 PAs, .927 OPS, 94.5 EV, .321 BABIP
Olson- 153 PAs, .817 OPS, 93.7 EV, .231 BABIP
Riley- 149 PAs, .789 OPS, 93.3 EV, .337 BABIP
Murphy- 115 PAs, .917 OPS, 93.2 EV, .356 BABIP
Rosario- 114 PAs, .772 OPS, 89.9 EV, .312 BABIP
Ozuna- 114 PAs, 1.017 OPS, 91.1 EV, .338 BABIP
Albies- 141 PAs, .781 OPS, 90.3 EV, .259 BABIP
Arcia- 102 PAS, .799 OPS, 88.0 EV, .365 BABIP
Harris- 115 PAs, .565 OPS, 89.3 EV, .217 BABIP
Pillar- 41 PAs, .985 OPS, 88.4 EV, .240 BABIP
TDA- 42 PAs, .619 OPS, 88.2 EV, .276 BABIP
Olson, Albies, and Harris have all had some pretty bad luck looking at their babip (particularly Olson and Harris), hopefully that begins to even out for them.

Very rudimentary I know but I always look at the OPS on the telecast’s lineups and we usually have either 8 or 9 in our lineup over the league average.
I would say that not too many teams can say that.

Yeah, now that Ozuna and Rosario have pulled their season numbers up to being average to above average, we'd be up there with the Rays and Rangers in the top grouping.

The broadcast tonight should be a lot of fun. Gaudin is off tonight and they're doing a players only thing. Francoeur is doing play by play with Chipper, Glavine, and Smoltz in the booth with him.

I can't wait.
The stories that Glav and Smoltzie are gonna tell.

So we showed average for our lineup so couldn’t tell.
Mutts have 3 guys in lineup above league average OPS

Hopefully Strider can figure these guys out. The Mets have given him fits so far in his career.
