Perez drilled in the hamstring with a 110 mph comebacker. He's staying in the game for now. We'll see if it tightens up on him.

Phillies just hit a 2 run homer to come from behind again.

Well Phillies just got a 2 run HR in top of 9 to take lead at Washington. Braves lead about to be 4 1/2 after they lose again tonight.

I'm thinking ?? Phillies will be leading division in 7 days

Yep, just keeping it real, Phillies are the better all around team.
Better hitting and pitching.
It really kills us are best player is constantly on the IL.
Hopefully, come off season, trade hotdogs that can't take the field.

Guess we just have to wait it out. Probably what the brass will do. They sure in the frick are more patient than me

The offense is truly horrific.

Gotta love Walt running out Carrasco last night when we were up 1, but running Didier out there tonight when we are down 3. Lovely bullpen management.

Starting pitching leaves a lot to be desired as well

Yeah, but the starting pitching has at least been average over the past month and a half, the offense has been bottom five in baseball bad over that period of time.

ETA:
I'm wrong on the pitching being average, from a tweet:
Since May, 18th Braves have been hitting .232/.296/.377 w/ a wOBA of .306. That’s the 3rd worst offense in baseball.

Braves rotation has produced an ERA of 5.20 & a FIP of 4.64. Both of those numbers are near the bottom of the MLB.

Dating back to the 2024 playoffs, the Braves have now lost their last 8 games in San Diego.

Notice how that retard RunningJacket hasn't been around in awhile to tell us how much these games don't matter as our division lead rapidly erodes

You just needed to remember how bad Holmes, Elder and Strider were in their most recent starts. Are there any other teams with worse starters than those 3 in the last 3 weeks?

I said a few weeks ago this felt like 2024 all over again.

Got off to a great start, had a few injuries here and there and then eventually you were down to one pitcher in your rotation that is worthy of being on a major league roster. Combine that with the same shitty offense we've seen for three seasons now and it's no surprise this is what you get.

But hey! Maybe after ANOTHER offseason of chalking this up to injury luck and whatever other stupid arse excuse they want to use to justify not improving the roster, it will work out!

Its getting to the point where if the owners and player union can't come to an agreement for there to be a 27 season, I actually won't give a shite. I will find something else to do and get interested in

The difference is we had the best pitching in the league in 2024 (best team ERA, most team strikeouts). This stretch is what 2024 would have looked like without elite pitching.
