Sorry 257 you’ve been doing a good job with the theads just trying to switch it up for a day since the mojo has been bad for a bit.
Story is what does Strider have to give us?
Also since they’re sending a lefty Yaz won’t be playing THANK GOD. Hopefully White gets a start. He’s hitting .222 with the same war as Yaz but has 2 HR which is two more than Yaz and 12 RBIs which is 6 more because he is hitting almost .400 with RISP

No apologies needed. We needed to change it up.
The bullpen is well rested. We just need Strider to keep us close through five.

I don’t think he can possibly have a blow up game again like he did in coors.
Something interesting I went back and looked at during that start is he used his curveball more than his slider which I didn’t know since I was on vacation with the wife and her family for that and the mariners series.
I think he’s going to have to do that some extent going forward due to his lost velocity so fingers crossed he just couldn’t get it going in the high air

lol wut?
Based on the last 2+ years of data there is a much better chance of that happening than him having a QS.

It doesn't matter what breaking pitch he's tunneling off the fastball until his fastball either regains velo or gains some late movement so it becomes a swing and miss pitch in the zone.

I meant if we want to win, not that it’s unfathomable.
It’s 100% possible he goes like 4 IP 5 ER

Based on our bats these last couple of games, I'm also fully expecting Snell to dominate us in his first start back a la what Wheeler did to us in his first start back a couple of weeks ago.

One sign of hope is Ozzie is back to form in totale against lefties. His splits are insane. Hes been good hitting from the left side too but has a 1.055 OPS against lefties with a ridiculously insane just 3 SO against them
This drops to .807 when hitting left handed

If there is any justice in this world, we win by 10 tonight and Walt gets ejected.
RIP Bobby, thank you for everything.

Amen brother
My step dad cried when I told him the news me and him used to go to tons of Braves games in that like late fall off era of the dynasty and seemed to always get Kevin millwood on the mound. We saw pujols as a rookie. It was special for us since my mom traveled Monday through Friday for work.
Me and my wife will pray for him

The Braves of our youth are disappearing. RIP, Bobby.

My favorite Bobby-ism is how the dugout mics would pick him up yelling "easy, EASY!" anytime a pitcher was running to first after hitting a grounder to the infield.

A September call-up in Cox’s final season as a manager, in 2010, Freeman’s time with the Braves didn’t overlap much with Cox’s. However, Freeman said Cox had an oversized influence on him.
“A manager who relentlessly had our backs,” said Freeman, who was in the Braves’ major-league spring training camp in each of Cox’s last two years.
Freeman recalled walking into the Braves’ clubhouse for the first time on Sept. 1, 2010, and seeing a lineup card on which he was listed as the team’s No. 6 hitter.
“I almost threw up,” Freeman said.
Freeman was staring into space in front of his locker when Cox walked over. The manager dropped an expletive, which was followed by a question: “What took you so long to get here to the big leagues?”
“All the nerves immediately went away,” Freeman said.

I know we lucked into a run there, but we’re doing it again. Sad.

Bases loaded nobody out... 1 run.
Opposing pitchers may have begun figuring out how to pitch to us.

Spencer got more swing and miss on the fastball in that one AB to Ohtani than he did his entire Colorado start.
