I feel like a lot of that is Ronnie
Ronnie is 2/6 in challenges this year, and he's 6 of the 10 challenges from Braves batters this year.

Not great.

Ronald and Harris should not be guys we are allowing to use challenges especially burning them early in the game. Especially Harris but Ronald doesn’t have the greatest feel for the strike zone either. Ozzie doesn’t as well so just unless it is like a must have late game I would not let them 3 challenge

Walt seems to have a much better idea of when to pull a pitcher than Snit did. There is zero chance Snit pulls Elder in that spot. There is also zero chance Snit uses his high leverage relievers with a one run deficit like Walt did last night.

Yes this has been talked about a good bit.

I’m in total agreement Walt Weiss has been a major upgrade at manager. Snitt honestly came off as if he was just going off the vibes and Walt comes off like a man with job to do and a plan to get that fricking thing done

I wasn't impressed at the time with the hire of Weiss, regardless of how he did as a player in a Braves uni but Holmes was very complementary of him this week and I do like how he manages the pitchers better.

And the sack on Soler that even Soler wasn't mad about.

This has definitely been a tremendous improvement. And actually using the bench and giving players rest.

Ronald also still doesn’t look quite right on the bases or in the OF

Was at the game last night. Ronald looks gimpy running the bases, and seems to be dogging it in the OF... something ain't right.

Riley did well in the Spring. I will let that give me hope until May ends. The Braves won’t find anyone else to take his contract so they may have to stick with him for a while longer.

I think he will round into form. He might never be the power hitter he once was and we paid for. More like a 20-25 hr a year guy

As long as he keeps up his production at 3B that’s totally fine with me
