Our bullpen is shite. AA better revamp it. Iglesias may be reliable now that he’s warmed up but the rest is fricking Russian roulette every night.

The front office failed so hard in rebuilding this pen.

We’re not a serious World Series contender with this bullpen. Plain and simple.

Lucas Luetge would be an innings eater, Josh Tomlin type guy on any other contending team or in AAA.

We bring him in the 7th of a one run game.

Iglesias, McHugh, and Uncle Jesse are the only ones in the bullpen who are at least serviceable at the moment.

Rest of the pen is complete trash.

People keep saying wait till the deadline when we make some moves, but that's still 2 months away.

Have to at least do something sooner, whether it's a trade or even if that means calling up AJSS and using him out of the pen.

McHugh has been pretty bad this year. Jesse is either decent or really bad. Nick Anderson and Iglesias have been the only net positives.

Bullpen is very easy to overhaul at the deadline. Will probably have to deal with internal guys for the next month and a half though.

Honest question. Does SNit-Wit get a personal tax break for donating to employ this many make-a-wish “pitchers” or is it an order from above to instantly kill any momentum by putting in functionally incompetent make-a-wish “pitchers”?

It's amazing that he is still in the game.

I keep hearing people say how good McHugh is and them pointing to his ERA being below 3 (he’s at 3.00 right now) But his WHIP is 1.89. That ERA is not sustainable with that type of WHIP.

I think Snit is doing all he can with the hand he’s been dealt. This is on our lord and savior AA.

Need to get Minter right and Lee healthy. Anderson and Iglesias are fine as is Chavez in a limited role. McHugh is going to be on the roster and he obviously has a great track record even with the bad peripherals. That leaves 2 spots (3 on a postseason roster).

Almost assuredly going to red a righty and a lefty via trade. Yates and Luetge aren’t going to cut it. Jimenez probably has these next few months to turn it around but he hasn’t been impressive.

Curious why you're not lumping in Jimenez with the other two. Outside of one season, this is largely who he is.

There's honestly probably a better chance that Yates becomes more serviceable than Jimenez, but that chance is still hella low.

Yates has been better lately. I'd be fine DFAing Jimenez tomorrow and never seeing him throw another pitch in a Braves uniform. He is awful.

Now would be a good time for Olson to raise his BA wRISP from .167 to .184
