The PGA needs to allow relief from a man-made divot in the fairway. You shouldn't be penalized for hitting a good shot.

I agree that it really sucks to have a good shot end up in a divot, but I don't think you can make this rule. Guys would start arguing about any imperfection at all being an old divot and trying to get relief.

Prior to today, I thought Tiger might be on his way back to winning tournaments again. Now, I'm not so sure. Not only has his swing and game gone south, so has the fear factor. It's non existent.

I don't have any hard numbers, but the senior tour used to be shown live on ESPN, now it is on the golf channel.

The Thursday-Friday rounds of the PGA Tour used to be on ESPN too, but now the Golf Channel has them. The Golf Channel is a pretty legit station these days.

The Senior event in Birmingham is the Tradition now. It's a Champions Tour major. It gets plenty of attention.

Phil with a tap in for par on the 15th.

Of course by tap in, I mean a 30 footer.

No doubt. I've never seen Tiger so down on himself in the last round of a tourney like this. Before, he always believed he would win, now he seems to be waiting for things to go wrong. PJ is right about one thing...his mental edge is gone. I'd even venture to say that it's a handicap right now. It'll take every ounce of his golf ability to get back in the winner's circle. I have no doubt he could finish in the top 10 most weeks, but the talent is so strong on Tour these days that he won't be able to just will his way to wins any longer.

I really am wondering if Romo beat Tiger straight up today. They said he was definitely outplaying him on the front nine.

They are -3 for the day and Tiger has 2 birdies. I imagine Tony is beating him heads up.

If they are really -3 for the day romo would have to be beating him since he isn't getting any strokes

not only is the fear factor missing, but he himself is transparently suffering, emotionally. He has the spiritual practice of a 14 yr old punk. He is without redeeming qualities, as a person, and it shows now. He really does not understand life at all.

Tiger's made 2 birdies. Plus you don't know how many times Tony's picked it up when he can't better Tiger's score.
