Fools gold for Dana Brown to buy instead of sell before the deadline to save his job.
Astros are like the saints after brees: purgatory
I choose to accept a “slight renovation” of the roster over a complete rebuild.
Pena could garner a struggling Duran + prospects Witherspoon & Gonzalez from the BoSox.
Ironically, the deadline market for catchers is also solid… looking at you Yanier.
I don’t think Dana has the go ahead to be real buyers at the deadline when they’ve been linked to a .240 lefty hitter in Lars Nootbaar.
I get posturing, but I follow the Astros too much to know that Browns basically being given a “one last shot” with limitations. No prospects below 20.
I think we should cash in knowing a lockout is coming. This team with a lefty bat and a half arse relief pitcher isn’t making this team a world series winner.
Again, two choices to Jim Crane: Purgatory or Rebuild

Jesus dude. Shut up and win the division. See what happens in the playoffs.

Brown gonna trade their only 2 legit position player prospects in Neyens and alvarez for a couple of mid dudes at an outside attempt to earn a 2 and que playoff cameo. They are 5 legit players away from a realistic chance to win the AL including a bonified ace
