In fairness, winning SEC titles doesn’t mean a whole lot these days. That’s like bragging about winning the Sunbelt.

I have been following the firing of the shitty head coach of the Falcons and the Falcons fanbase fricking sucks.
First.. I went to a game a few weeks ago for the first time in a while and I was shocked at the crowd. I don't want to sound like I hate black people (because I really don't) but 70% of the stadium was black - which is fine.. They are all cool and friendly and awesome fans in the crowd - the stadium was rocking and it was a fun atmosphere.
This was kind of the reason I started this thread about Kirby and how he could bring in a whole new fanbase to the team - this was basically what I was referring to
However, reading message boards and posts on social media throughout this season and now onto the offseason.. the fanbase only wants black people on the team. I feel that the previous head coach was a DEI hire and I also feel that the QB pick was a DEI hire. We got Cousins and the fanbase pitched a fricking fit because he was white so the front office went out and wasted a pick on Michael Penix Jr
Now, the majority of the fanbase is demanding that the next head coach will be another black head coach. It's like the majority of the fanbase hates white people.

Just kidding man. I’ve said many times I like Kirby. He isn’t taking a pay cut to go the NFL nor should he. The biggest problem at UGA right now is lack of talent evaluators. If that continues those close wins will turn to losses.

From what I am reading on X and Facebook.. yes. They keep posing pics of potential new coaches (who I have no idea who they are because I really don't follow the NFL much) and every picture that I have seen posted for a new coach is a black dude.,

Ohio state last year didn’t even play in the big cg and lost to the big conference champs during the regular season but smoked them in the rematch to the playoffs.
If a program can get into the playoffs without playing the CG it’s probably better for them and preferable tbh
