I guess I forgot about this but you got to think it’s going to give Florida a big recruiting advantage as well

I mean at this point the ncaa would rule every Florida athlete ineligible. They haven’t backed off yet as far as I know.

There is an NCAA sponsored bill in congress now (it was introduced about 5 weeks ago) to make a national law doing the same thing. The NCAA wants to prevent states from having individual laws creating competitive advantages over other states.

If you’re referring to the Chris Murphy bill, it’s anything but NCAA friendly.
Edit: I see you are likely referencing the Anthony Gonzales Bill.
They are hoping for a favorable ruling in the NCAA v Alston case in front of SCOTUS this term.

What the hell do you mean, "okay and?" to his statement.
He is simply stating an observation that it clearly did not benefit their recruiting class this year.
So.. it didn't really help them.. I don't understand your comments or not understanding or what the hell you are getting at. They have the 13th/14th ranked class. That isn't that great considering they are in Florida and the SEC with some alleged built in recruiting advantage..
I believe LSU's issue is more about compliance than any other school having some money advantage.

Mark Emmert, NCAA President, is pushing for the legislation and the NCAA will vote on their own rule changes next month to allow athletes to be compensated for their likeness being used.
But they need the legal framework in place to prevent atheletes from being classified as professionals instead of amateurs, so my guess is something will pass in congress this session.

Pretty much this. There is a reason even Kirby passed on him.

Try and relax.
