let me just add that i you go play online today, you're going to lose
online is filled with bots and professionals and maybe 5% are casual regs. it's not like back in the mid-00s when it was 75% casual/rec players and 25% knew what was going on. you're going to be put to the test and will be forced to make a bunch of loose calls over and over or you will be exploited to death

I play at betonline. Cash games are really good. I normally only play PLO. Tourneys are rigged.

heir idiocy will come back to haunt them sooner or later. variance is also a big part of the game.
problem is, i never get the cards to take their cash.
I end up with 2 5 off suit, and these morons give their cash to everyone but me. I sit there and beg for anything over 7 3 off suit.
So while they get lucky and crack my AA's with their 9 10 off suit, i can't even get cards resembling a 9 10, to even take their cash. But guy next to me is getting face face and lining his pocket.
Had a guy like that at the casino locally. He was pushing on garbage, but i couldn't do shite, even when i got to see a flop, i missed badly. But finally after 2 hours of petering along, i began to get cards i could make moves on, and i cleaned him out.
Sometimes you just can't get the cards. No reason to donate because some arse is playing like a moron.

Ill be in Miami this weekend. They have a 500k guarantee tourney starting on Thursday.

I'm just talking about how I played specifically on this site. I can raise in a late position every time and it does no good because it gets called every time. That's fine, but then a trash flop comes out and a large continuation bet gets called again. Then a large portion of your chip stack is gone if you don't get really lucky and win the hand.
So, I adjusted to try to wait out a hand where I should dominate and try to take advantage of their generous calling. That often ends up in bad beats. It's much better to play when people aren't calling a large bet with low pair just to see it to the river.

LC. Don't really like the one in BR all that much to be honest with you.

I don't play that often due to my work schedule, but I'm sure we've ran across one another at some point.

If your luck is that bad(it is not) then why bother playing at all?

Then, if hands that are worse than yours are calling, in the long run, you will be profitable.

Exactly. But their are idiots here who will say you suck because you don't beat this. Anybody can take out the dummies when you catch the cards, but it takes catching them. It takes pretty much playing only top notch cards to have the chance to take them out. So, you sit and let the blinds eat you up while you wait for the opportunity.

I don't think you are getting me. We are fake money here. When I raise, it's a minimum of 3 times the big blind. Then my continuation bet will usually be the size of the pot, or at least half, if I get multiple calls.
This is a pot of half of my chip stack at least, usually. I would normally try to take a large chunk of their stack in one play, then once I have a chip lead I play normally. It takes getting that large stack before I'm eliminated though.
