Or, perhaps we’re literally living in the ncaa twilight zone, when:

1. Players can literally transfer to any school, including schools within their own conference, with 0 penalty and immediate eligibility
2. Teams can easily, and out in the open pay recruits (via this bogus unregulated UIL deal)
2A.You have Ta&m already signing 15 of the top 100 players (and they’re not done yet!), to go play for Jimbo?!
3. You have teams like Indiana and Missouri out recruiting LSU?!

How long can this current state of affairs last before the former great sport of college football implodes? Do the current ncaa powers to be actually think this is sustainable?

The power has shifted to players, for sure.

What could go wrong?

Your kinda just restating facts that everyone knows, I don't think many of us are very happy with how things are with NIL/portal=free agency right now, but the "inmates" didn't unleash this

Inmates?

Asylum?

Perhaps the players are just getting a piece of the multi-billion dollar industry. Yes, there will be upheaval for the next several years. It will eventually shake out. LSU might be left behind and become an also-ran like Florida State. It’s possible.

Either way, life will go on.

The problem is there are no ncaa rules the rules are set by individual states. Most of the rules are there are vague. Until the university presidents decide to set some clear across the board rules things won’t change

So in your mind the reason college football was great is because you thought the players were playing for free?

Some of these so-called fans need to get a fricking life.
Since before WWII, players have been wanting to get paid, now they are getting paid.
If you don't like it, don't watch it, watch Tractor Pull, or Tobacco Spitting or Cornholing.

Except they weren't

This NIL should have been thought out more on how to implement it. It's the Wild West right now.

That may happen once while we are in a transition period. Won’t happen again.

Yes, because, overall they're stupid and remain that way until they are about 26

Apoarently you don't have 16-21 year old children.....they make a lot of dumb, stupid and questionable decisions
