Yanks
Sox
Indians
Stros
Mariners

Have pulled clear of everybody. A Mariners collapse as year goes on is only possible scenario to change it.

The Mariners are the only one I could see losing that spot to someone like the Angels. The AL central is an absolute joke. The second place Twins are 34-40.

You’re right. Twins record would be 4th worst in theNL right now.

Yeah, Seattle could go 36-46 the rest of the way and have 85 wins. That'll almost certainly be enough.

It's sad that the yankees/redsox will probably have a better record than any team in the NL and one of them will have to play a 1 game wildcard.

I could easily see the Mariners choking and the Angels getting hot in the 2nd half and taking it. Though the Angels have had a serious amount of injuries this year so who knows.

The Mariners could go 500 the rest of the way and finish with 90 wins. Most years I would worry more about them blowing it, but there aren’t any real challengers behind them. People saying the Angels haven’t watched much of them this year. They have trout but other than that aren’t a good team. Terrible rotation, terrible bullpen and an inconsistent lineup. And as of tonight they’re now looking up at Oakland as well
