Anyone know if the vote to move Evangel/John Curtis/etc. to another

no it won't come till january.. and the proposal by the jesuit principal is totally self serving.. and they will vote to allow teams to play UP one class.. thus keeping them out of 5a which is what started this...

but they will have the support of 5a, 4a and 2a.. so they will have the votes instead of screwing 2a they will screw 3a.

the main reason for the jesuit prinicpal's proposal is to restore the catholic league but shaw may not even want back in...

if ya gonna let them play up - let em play up where they want.

what could end up happening is a public private split - at which point everyone loses...

the only way any proposal like this will pass will be if it has a perceptual benefit to more than one class...

both belong in 5a for football.

they don't want to play riverdale and shite. I almost be willing to guarantee you if the Catholic schools let them in the district they would play all the way up.

I feel that it might pass this time, because the alternative is that Catholic schools are looking at playing each other for all their non district games. That would really cut into the budgets for a lot of the NOLA area public schools.
