We will be tailgating right behind the goal post just off the sidewalk. Funny how a small world this is as we will be tailgating with the parents of the long snapper for Nicholls and my son replaced him when he got injured a few years ago for a few games. I am SLU alum but when my son signed with Nicholls I had to switch sides. My son plays DE.

SLU’s has had some great specialists play this year…punter and kicker…right?

Punter is very good, he's been a weapon. Kicker has been great on extra points, and has hit a few field goals but really limited in range. He hit a 45ish yard kick last weekend (or maybe Lamar) but it struggled. He's young so time to grow.

We wanted to make a game this year, any chance for a home playoff one?

If we make it in, I am confident we get a first round game. We have always put in aggressive bids, not sure why this year would be any different.

The kick struggled?

Boy kicking a 45 a few weeks ago.

I know you post about your son kicking a lot, we will always take a kicker with some leg down in Hammond. One of the most difficult positions to find in FCS. We just had a St. Stanislaus player commit a month or so ago, have him come join his teammate in a few years.

Bunch of home games in a row, new QB for Commerce without much film on him, 2 big plays, and the Commerce coaching staff executed a masterclass of an offensive scheme spreading us out and negating our aggressiveness and using their QB’s speed.
