I wish I did spend more time with my driver on the range when I have a good round going and I pump 2 OB on number 16

I hit my driver till i hit 5 consecutive down the middle. Then take out the 3 wood and go down from there until i hit 5 consecutive straight with every club.

I would have to spend the entire day on the rang to hit that many balls. And in the end would probably do more damage than good to my swing. I would be so tired by the end that I would just be developing bad habits. Hell, I'd be too tired after the first 50 to be doing any good.

I'm starting to get much smarter about my range time and warmup time. I don't expend too much energy on driver unless I'm in a funk and working on something. Otherwise I hit 5-6 balls. That is enough to show everyone else that I'm the longest and then I move on to the irons.
Seriously, I spend half my shots on wedges, 30% on Mid irons and 20% on long irons.
I've been going up to the range during the week, hitting a small bucket and then spending an hour chipping and putting. This is where my game has seen the most improvement.
