said he was the reason for Notre Dame’s success

he was there for 1 year and they performed exactly how they did for the previous 3 years before he was there.

was anyone actually saying that or are people just looking for something to be upset about?

It would be nice if they were beaten so badly they scrap the FB program.

That’s a tough one.

Can’t stand Ryan Day.
Humbling OSU and hurting their playoff chances would be glorious.
I like Freeman.

On the other hand, ND.

Nobody cares that he didn’t come to LSU. He got the Notre Dame head job for God’s sake.

Media is ready to crown Freeman

They're doing this because he currently has the highest rated recruiting class, from a points perspective, in ND history and he hasn't coach a full season yet. He's the best recruiter ND has had since Lou Holtz. He has done a better job recruiting (on paper) than Weis, Kelly, Davie, and Willingham.

Now, can he actually coach? I have no clue. Will he be as good of a coach as Brian Kelly? It's unlikely.

I want both Notre Dame and LSU to win. Just can’t root for Ohio State.

Best of luck to the Irish this year. I hope both them and LSU have found what they need.
