That's not even what you were discussing, jeez, stay on topic.

adman named by far the best one, Carolina,]. I don't know about the SB, but SF could be interesting with a better QB. Certainly Minn if Favre does not come back. Jaxville could use a better QB. Buffalo?

Buffalo?

they have to many hole imho. They are switching to a 3-4 so they created new holes with that. Not to mention the o.line was one of the league's worst. Luckily they picked a ton of interior linemen in last year's draft.

As far as knowing the history of the game, who won big games, the players, coaches, stuff like that PJ knows his stuff as well as anyone on this board, especially the NFL's "golden Age" in the 1970's. He is not as good at analyzing and making predictions etc. I've told him that many times, he takes it too personal, but its not an insult.

The only teams I could see as SB contenders with McNabb aside for Philly of course is Minn if Favre does retrie and maybe Carolina, though I'm not sure what they will do to replace Peppers. The rest could improve and make the playoffs, Buffalo may be a bit of a reach.

Never said you didn't.

BUT The NFL has evolved into something VERY different from the past. If you could understand what this great sport has gone through it would be different. YOU haven't lived through it ALL!!!

Dukke is a good poster. I've never disagreed. I think it's really interesting getting someone else's views on stuff who knows the past.

that's for sure. The NFL is a very different game.

As a Pats fan, I really hate T.O. but I had IMMENSE respect for what he did in the Superbowl. You could tell the guy was hurting, and very well could have had a career ending injury (remember, those Pats were some hitters ) with one unlucky hit, giving his all to win the Superbowl.

I still contend that the problem with that team was McNabb, not Owens.

Can't agree with that, because the same crap happened with Garcia in San Francisco and with Bledsoe and Romo in Dallas.

The one constant factor in all of those circuses was TO.
