Without Raleigh, the Mariners are far out of the playoffs.

So now we just say things. Raleigh has his least amount of errors in a season when he has played in more than 100 games. His highest fielding percentage of his career when playing more than 100 games. A catcher with his numbers is more valuable defensively than a right fielder/DH.

I’m not disagreeing with you, but errors and fielding percentage aren’t really the best ways to judge a catcher. Or anyone really.

Hitting 20 homers on both sides of the plate has to be one of the top MLB records ever, right?

Really can’t see how he is a worse fielding catcher this year, was an odd statement with no facts.

I'd like to see Judge catch ONE inning or try to hit from the left handed side of the plate

I'd like to see Cal slash .329/.452/.677 like Judge

Cal leading in homers hides the fact that Judge is way WAY beyond any other batter right now, to the point that yes imo his hitting is more valuable than Raleigh's defense.

The fact that even fangraphs has Judge ahead in WAR with framing included seems to back it up

I don’t know if that is true or not. I don’t really know anything about his defense.

If you drop BIG DUMPER’s OPS by 180, he’s league average. If you drop THE JUDGE’s OPS by 180, he’s BIG DUMPER.

THE JUDGE has played 7 less games and still has .7 fWAR more than BIG DUMPER, which literally favors catchers and penalizes RF/DH.

Nothing but respect to BIG DUMPER. He’s one of my favorite players in the league. But he’s Adam Dunn with Megan Thee Stallion’s knees.

EDIT: downvoters are liberals who are blinded by hate and don’t care about facts and statistics.
