Anyone got an update on the HC search?

Any known potential candidates?

Two things about the job that make it a little different than most HS jobs:

-It's a state job, so there is a mandated amount of time that the job must be advertised. There are probably requirements on the number of interviews too, but I have no idea. A state employee could shed more light on that.

-It requires a Master's degree.

Beyond that I have no knowledge of the situation.

U-High requires you to have a masters or be in the process of getting a masters degree in order to be employed there

Yeah that’s pretty much every job on a college campus sadly. 4yr degree required, masters preferred. LSU and many others offer a 1yr education masters program so the applicant pool is saturated with masters candidates. Hell even entry level staff at the campus Rec centers all have masters degrees.

Dale Brown did call me the other day with a crazy voice messege that he had a job for me. Lol. True story. Haven't called back, I will wait after the Bama game.

It is Bud Kilmer's job to lose at this point. Deal should be finalized by mid next week.

Different here in Texas. The head football coach is considered an administrator so the overwhelming majority of them have Masters degrees. I assumed it was the same in Louisiana
