People are always talking on this board about the abstract concept of a "killer instinct," what better way to prove that he has it than killing someone?
Also it could cause his draft stock to fall slightly so the Saints could get him, thus placing him in the murder capitol and bringing everything full circle.

depends on the team picking
If your solid at the DE position, you could move down, or pick the player you need.
If you need a DE, he's easily #1, going into his last college season.
