St Paul 10
Chalmette 1

West ouchita 3
Brother Martin 0

West ouchita 8
Fontainebleau 1

West ouchita looks real good. Multiple D1 pitchers. Very sound defensively and great approaches at the plate.

St Amant beat Destrehan 3-1 on Thursday night and their game against Hahnville got canceled. They’ll play U-High and Holy Cross on Saturday.

How good is Destrehan supposed to be this year? Just wondering and trying to figure out if beating Destrehan this year is a legitimate win or not. It usually is but every year is different

Beating DHS isn’t nothing now. Losers to Sulphur 11-1 and 3-1 losses to Dutchtown and St. Amant. Best Live Oak yesterday 8-2. Starters Marceaux (LSU commit) and Scioneaux only played one game due to injuries

Not a fan of the split myself. But we can only win what’s on the schedule.

It's early but CHS took out Curtis on Sat in New Orleans
The two teams are likely on a path to meet in select playoffs again
