As currently constructed, they gave zero chance to make the CFP.
and adding 5 teams won’t increase that

Memphis and Cincinnati would be the two best options.

Texas and OU don’t want to expand, so the Big 12 won’t expand.

Realignment screwed everything up.

why does ND get to remain conferenceless?

We’re approaching a point now where it has been almost 30 years since ND fielded a championship caliber team. Most years they aren’t even top 10. Their fan base is shrinking. I wouldn’t worry that much about them, after getting destroyed by Alabama and Clemson it’s going to be a while before they get back in.

The Big 12 should kick West Virginia out.

Add Texas A&M, Missouri, and Arkansas. These three schools are true Big 12 schools that fit in much better in the Big 12.

No ULL fan said ULL to the Big 12 in here? A few years ago they would have all been in here and been serious about it.

Arkansas was never in the Big 12.

That huge payday the SEC will be getting with ESPN isn't because of the two charter Mississippi schools...

why does ND get to remain conferenceless? I'm assuming they get a pass b/c of their history and playing on NBC every freaking Saturday.

That's what is mind boggling- the media has played them up for the last 60 years based on their name and history. They should be penalized by the polls for failing to have to play a conference championship! If Penn St. can join the Big Ten, why not Notre Damned??
