LSU shouldn't have let that kid get away.
He’s a good player but lsu doesn’t recruit RHP that throw 90 mph anymore

Shreve starts district tomorrow and pitched off. WM is a helluva team though.

I was surprised to see Ferguson go the distance with WM playing Pineville tomorrow to star district. Supposed to play them 3 games, but only 2 count for district?

Kid was impressive. He kept them off balance for the most part. Btw...the players seem like a great group. Met a couple and were very respectful. Good luck

Catholic again. 4-0 over #6 Lewisburg (MS).

Crazy to think 90 from right side would be a middle round draft pick in late 90s
Lefty throwing 87-88 w/ nice hammer would be on cover of Lee Brecheen magazine

Let me guess you can teach him to pitch but you can’t teach velo

No you absolutely can but lsu would rather take a a kid that is throwing 93-95 and is very projectable where they can add 20 lbs to him in the weight room, add a med ball and weighted ball program and get him up to 97-98

Not sure of inning but Barbe leads Sam Houston 7-0

Holy Cross 13 Karr 0
Holy Cross has been miserable to start the season. Too much talent there for that. I really like their coach, contrary to popular opinion. I hope they make a push. I originally thought they would/could make a push but I'm hesitant now. Although, even the top teams have all showed some vulnerability. Catholic League is going to be another crap shoot.
