Saw this story on Foxnews.com this morning.. Hopefully it gains a little more steam and the University is forced to hand down some kind of punishment..

Meh. If that's the worst the kid does in his career, he's not doing too bad. It was a bad moment for him, but I certainly don't want to see his life or college career ruined over it.

This reactionary "burn them to the ground!" stuff when kids/young adults say stupid shite is a bit much. And yes, I'm applying that logic to situations that's have recently occurred outside of this, so it's not exclusive to Harrison or UK. We've seen multiple players reinstated at programs who have been in the throws of rape allegations or get second chances after multiple gun charges and assaults. But this is what makes people want to rue the day college athletics stopping being about the students?

Obviously I'm not fond of them, but that's not 'kick a player off the team' worthy. He's going to leave for the draft in all likelihood so that would be a moot gesture anyway.
