Isn’t there a regional in Cleveland?
ETA: yep, Playin games at Dayton and 1st and 2cd rounds in Cleveland.

This is a suggestion, not an order. As of now.

I am sure the NCAA will have a say?

If the governor makes some sort official declaration maybe some organizers insurance policies kick in? Maybe would allow for refunds of tickets and for the contractors that would no longer be getting paid?

DeWine declared a State of Emergency yesterday. I'm sure the NCAA would be at the table, but not sure what they could do.
Santa Clara County formally banned events over 1,000 people. That's the most salient. Stanford is hosting a sectional.

True about insurance policies. But the majority the cash for the NCAAs is television revenue.
There will be a lot of pissed off Dayton fans not being able to watch the Flyers as a #1 seed.

Dayton hosts the First Four games, not 1st and 2nd round.

I am well aware of that. Dayton would be heading to Cleveland to play their games.

I think a lot of these people just don’t want to be “covid spread at X” on the news cycle. By their calculations it’s better to lose the revenue than to forever be known as the covid games.
Regardless of how likely it is
