Maybe these guys will learn a little something about taxes and it might change their voting habits.

$500 A MONTH? THIS RUINS FOOTBALL

Many people were against NIL, because it would provide cover for flat-out payments that had nothing to do with NIL.

This is proof that those concerns were justified. Even though the amounts are small, were are early in this process.

The nil has nothing to do with it.

The ncaa is unable to enforce restrictions on compensation. Really what the rules are... is a plea to follow their "guidelines".

It was over back in january when the justice department sent the NCAA a letter about new rules.

if fans were concerned about "pay for play" then they need to go back over 100 years for a "purity" argument

people just want to live in a world of lies. i honestly don't understand it

Pay for play was a shady realm that had very limited players and limited funds. Many wealthy boosters did not participate, and many players did not participate.

This makes it where there are basically no rules. That's fine, and I don't really care, but let's not be naive and act like this is just business as usual.

Do you really believe Todd Graves was illegally paying players in the past?

I'm not arguing the rules, I'm arguing the results.

Everyone said it would be used to cheat, and here we are.

I hope Nike offers every Oregon player millions. Go ahead and rip off the band aid now and kill the Golden Goose.

Its not cheating, even if they have contracts for service.

The NIL was just an easy way for State legislators to break the ncaa without criminal prosecution.

I've been saying since the USSC decision, pay for play is here.

Well. There's a pretty big difference between $6,000 a year and $100,000 a year.

Yes Bc it’s definitely going to stop at $500 a month.

Yeah it was strange people were acting like this wasn’t going to happen.

“Not every player is marketable”

They don’t have to be. Everyone can be given deals for no reason other than the school they play for. They can be bogus deals just for money.
