Great college career for Perine. Hope he comes back but I can't blame him if he feels it's time for the NFL

Yeah, with 5 minutes left in this game, his job might not be safe. No doubt he has some ridiculous comments left in him.

Oh hell no, did Perine just try to steal the life championship?

Ostrich where do you put Perine in order of best OU backs?

I knows he got the record but to me he's no higher than 5th or maybe as low as 10

I'll give Bob Stoops this - the man is really good at identifying great offensive coordinators. He's a defensive guy but his teams have been more known for their offensive proficiency during his tenure.

You're young or never saw the one I'm talking about play.

You do know the Lions retired 20 for all 3 of them don't you?

Barry Sanders >>>>> Billy Sims

Not even close either.

He had a good, albeit brief, career. Still nothing on Barry.

I'd put him behind Billy Sims and Adrian Peterson for sure. I think an argument can be made for him at #3. But I'd definitely have him in the top 5

I think he's above Griffin and Murray

But he's behind
AD
Simms
Dupree
Washington
Owens
Gaddis

If Simms doesn't blow his knee he has records that are untouchable

Simms was faster and bigger
Barry was quicker and took some chances

Barry had better OL also.

Yeah, I'd for sure put him behind Washington as well. Owens was a Heisman winner but it was just a different era. Dupree had more talent but didn't have as long of a career at OU as Perine. There have been a lot of good ones though
