Stockton is arguably the best defensive PG ever. And none of the others are slouches on D.

Stockton would be the only one who might get out on the 3-point line. The Hick from French Lick wasn't stopping anyone inside. Bad balance on the starting 5. Better off with Kevin Mchale and the Joker underneath.

that is kind of funny since

the nba all time steals leader is first on the list
west was five NBA All Defensive Team (4-1st and 1 - 2nd Team)
bird was three time NBA All Defensive Team (3 - 2nd Team)
Jokic and Dirk arent good defensively but they are 6’11 and 7’0 so they should be fine

They should be fine? Bird, Joker, and Dirk underneath? Find for an azz kicking in the paint.

Honestly that’s an interesting point. McHale may work better than Dirk in that lineup. You have ball handling and shooting. McHale can score inside while Jokic spaces the floor. Jokic and Dirk may be too similar skill-set wise

24.2 points/game
5x all star
2x all nba

Not a dud. Just not as dominant as in college and he had injury troubles. Plus a bad heart as it turns out.

Bird loved Mullin as one of the best spot-up sharpshooters ever.

If Bird respected you, that's some high praise.

As for the list, you start with the Logo, then Bird, then argue.

This. Also, there was no 3 pt line, and the game was a lot less guard driven. He is easily a 30 ppg in todays NBA
